The BMAC Gala is a one-of-a-kind celebration that raises vital funds for BMAC’s contemporary art exhibitions, transformative education initiatives, and dynamic public events.

Your gift of any amount in honor of Vermont Art Champions Sara Coffey and Dave Snyder will provide unrestricted support for BMAC's contemporary art exhibitions, transformative education initiatives, and dynamic public events.

FUND A NEED

  • Your gift will support an upcoming exhibition of work by an emerging, overlooked, or underrepresented artist, and may be dedicated in honor or in memory of someone.

  • Your gift will pay for a BMAC teaching artist to provide art instruction to children in one of 12 Head Start classrooms in Windham County for an entire year.

  • Your gift will pay for a local K-8 class to take a field trip to BMAC, including bus transportation, museum education staff, and art supplies.

  • Your gift will pay for the creation of a Glasstastic creature, imagined into existence by a K-6 student and fashioned in glass by a professional glass artist.

SILENT AUCTION

Bid generously on exclusive art experiences, vacation getaways, fine wine, handcrafted jewelry, and other amazing auction items that have been donated for this year’s cause. On behalf of all those whose lives are enriched by the work of BMAC, we thank you for your support!

The online portion of this auction will conclude on Thursday, September 19, at 9 p.m. EDT. The leading bids and any proxy bids will then carry over to the in-person BMAC Gala taking place on Saturday, September 21, at 6 p.m., at the Brattleboro Museum & Art Center.

RAFFLE

Wolf Kahn, House by a Spring Brook (2011)

Only 100 raffle tickets will be sold for a chance to win this original pastel painting by Wolf Kahn (1927-2020), which was featured in the 2011 BMAC exhibition Wolf Kahn: Brattleboro Pastels. Valued at $12,000, the artwork was gifted by Kahn to BMAC curator emerita Mara Williams and Thomas Hilsdon, on the occasion of their wedding. Williams and Hilsdon have in turn generously donated it to BMAC. Image size: 8 x 10 inches. Frame: 14 x 16.75 inches.

The raffle drawing will take place once all 100 tickets have been purchased. The winner need not be present for the drawing.
