Sasha Nicholas is an independent curator and art historian specializing in American art. Most recently, she was author of Richard Diebenkorn: A Retrospective (Rizzoli, 2019). J. D. McClatchy (1945-2018) was an American poet and literary critic. He was editor of the Yale Review and president of the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
